Ben Fearn is a graduate of the Landing School's Wooden Boat Building and Yacht Design programs.  He is also a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono where he studied International Affairs and History.  Prior to his academic pursuits, Ben spent five years in the US Marine Corps as a cryptologic linguist and served two combat tours in Afghanistan.  

Since leaving military service, Ben has spent the last decade honing his skills in architectural and naval design and construction.  His areas of design experience include composite structural design, custom hardware design and fabrication, custom dock design, residential dwellings, and naval technologies.  He has spent time working in architectural salvage and restoration, residential construction, wooden boat restoration and repair, cabinet making, and dock design and construction.

His passions for woodworking and artisan craftsmanship find plenty of outlets around his home in Damariscotta, Maine where he lives with his wife, Katie, and their son, Emile.  They enjoy spending their time in the garden and on their 30' wooden schooner, Stormy.

Logan Livingston is a graduate of the Landing School Yacht Design program.  He has also studied Structures and Design at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.  Hailing from The Shores of Nova Scotia, he has over three decades of experience in traditional and modern home building practices as well as many years working on wooden boat restorations and shipyards- from the High Arctic to the shores of Panama City, Florida.  

Logan began sailing twenty three years ago, has logged over 100,000 nautical miles and completed two circumnavigations of the world.  His maritime experience ranges from spending years living and working on traditional square riggers and schooners as well as racing and crewing on classic yachts and fishing vessels. 

His passions for both architectural design and hands on building provide an endless pursuit for practical convergence.  He lives in Damariscotta and enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith and their family onboard their 32 foot wooden lobster yacht, Sandpiper.
